Brightview provides full day programming for Kindergarten through Grade six.
The school is a designated district site for grade one to three and grade four to six Behaviour and Learning Assistance programming. Also included are two Opportunity program classrooms for students with an identified mild cognitive disability. We strive for a high level of inclusion for students with special needs.
School community programs include School Wide Guided Reading, Balanced Literacy programming in all classrooms, Levelled Literacy Intervention programming focused on grade two and three students and Middle Years Literacy Intervention programming focused on grade four, five and six students. Other programs include Coyote Pride, daily breakfast snack and Wednesday hot lunch programs, and a variety of extracurricular clubs and after school activities. The Mayfield Rotary Club and Bent Arrow Healing Society are important community partners with Brightview School.
