Partnerships
Brightview School is fortunate to have strong partnerships that provide students with incredible opportunities:
APPLE Schools - an innovative school-focused health promotion initiative improving focused on healthy eating, physical activity, and mental health habits.
ATB - provides students with lessons/initiatives to learn about financial literacy.
Bent Arrow Traditional Healing Society - hosts a weekly Coyote Pride program for students.
Dreams Take Flight - provides the trip of a lifetime to deserving children with specialized needs.
e4C - provides our students with a morning meal and a snack during the day through the government nutrition grant.
Edmonton Immigrant Services Association (EISA) - assists our newcomer families to Canada in finding community resources and services.
Family Centre - Roots and Wings provides in-home support to families. They work together with families to ensure their needs are front and centre, resulting in meaningful solutions based on their unique lives.
Free Play for Kids - provides an after-school program to our grade 3-5 students.
Fusion Fellowship - provides support to our community in many ways, including providing holiday hampers to our families, and partnering with COBS Bread to provide to our families every second Wednesday.
Hope Mission - provides students with a healthy and nutritious lunch four times a week. It begins in September and continues to the end of the school year.
Mayfield Rotary - a long-standing partner with Brightview School. The Fork-it-Over fundraiser, held annually, has supported a variety of programs and initiatives at our school. They also organize an annual Turkey Dinner and a summer BBQ for all students and staff.
STEM Club A4HC - An interactive in-person club for children in grade 5 and 6 every Wednesday from 3:30-5:00 p.m. Students engage in STEM-related theory and hands-on experiences.
